  • Do you have exceptional organisational skills and enjoy supporting senior leaders to make effective decisions? Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, coordination and discretion are essential? Sport England is looking for a Strategy & Secretariat Team Assistant to join our team. 

    As part of our Strategy & Secretariat Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Executive Leadership Team, Board, Committees and Subsidiaries. You’ll help ensure our core governance structures run smoothlyplanning forward meeting schedules, drafting agendas, commissioning and circulating papers, and managing the logistics that enable effective and timely decision-making. 

    In this role, you will coordinate diaries, book meeting spaces, support hybrid meeting technology, take minutes or action notes, and maintain accurate governance records. You will work closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the business, helping to ensure our governance processes are well understood, transparent and consistently applied. 

    We are looking for applicants with strong organisation and time-management skills, an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. You should be confident managing multiple priorities, coordinating diaries, supporting meetings and working with confidential information. Experience of taking minutes, maintaining accurate records and using Microsoft Office and MS Teams is essential. Experience within a governance or executive support environment is desirable. 

    While this role offers flexibility through home or hybrid working, the postholder will be required to attend regular meetings, including in-person meetings at the London office and other Sport England offices, to support effective collaboration across the organisation.
