The Programme Support Officer plays a key role in strengthening Sport England’s partner relationships by supporting the delivery of projects, systems, and communications that underpin effective collaboration.
Sitting within the Partner Relationships Team — the team responsible for fostering and managing relationships with our partners — this role helps ensure partnerships are strong, sustainable, and aligned with Sport England’s mission.
In this role you will support effective project delivery, ensure partners have access to the information and guidance they need, and contribute to partner performance through monitoring and evaluation. You will also coordinate meetings, events, and core systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Central to the role will be building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and partners, providing consistent and effective communication, and delivering high-quality support. You will also contribute flexibly to wider organisational projects, upholding Sport England’s values and standards. Working under the direction and support of the Head of Partner Relationships, you will help deliver a range of exciting and innovative projects.
We are looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, a proactive and collaborative approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You will be confident building relationships across teams and with external partners, showing sound judgement, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. A positive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting Sport England’s mission will help you thrive in this role.
Further information on the role, as well as the benefits of working at Sport England, can be found in the job pack and description.
